Design
We offer an extensive design process, including the testing of existing infrastructure to determine its suitability for inclusion in a new design. This will often involve a number of on-site meetings with key personnel, to enable us to gain a clear understanding of your business and your key requirements. It is also important at this stage to establish what the solution needs to deliver to be considered a success. In addition, budget, timescales, risks - and subsequent management of risks – must be considered.
Our designs may also include the underwriting of a particular element of the solution by a manufacturer, so their involvement is often included at this stage. Our design service is available as a standalone – and chargeable - product if required, but is most typically provided as part of a complete Annodata solution.
Implementation
Our implementation services consist of the following elements:
Project Management:
To ensure that the solution is delivered on time and achieves agreed results.
Equipment sourcing:
Purchasing of hardware, software and bandwidth on your behalf.
Carrier liaison:
Delivery of circuits on time, in the correct location and with the correct presentation.
Pre-staging:
The use of Annodata’s and any relevant manufacturer’s labs to part or fully build the solution prior to installation, which ensures smoother on-site deployment.
Soak testing:
Running of the part or fully built solution in Annodata’s - or the manufacturer’s - labs prior to on-site installation, to ensure that the system performs as designed and as requested.
Physical installation:
On-site deployment by Annodata’s highly-skilled engineering resource.
Training:
User and system management training - pre and post installation.
Support:
Annodata has 60+ full time engineers who work out of six locations around the UK:
Kings Langley - Reading - Houghton Regis - Great Portland Street (West End)
Coleshill - Manchester
We offer bespoke support contracts ranging from basic telephone support through to 24/7/365 remote monitoring and reporting. Response times are flexible ranging from one hour, depending on location, through to next day on-site attendance. Hours of coverage range from the normal business hours of Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, right through to 24/7/365 support. We can even offer different levels of support for individual components of a solution, depending on how critical they are to overall performance.
The Annodata approach to support is simple but very effective. We prefer to spend more time working with you proactively to ensure that your systems are performing correctly, rather than simply waiting for failure to occur and reacting at that point. If you leave your car unserviced for lengthy periods of time you expect it to breakdown at some point, so why would anyone choose to take that approach with their network infrastructure?
Optimisation
It is Annodata’s intention to provide you with a true partnership relationship. Most organisations in our industry are more than capable of reacting to your immediate requirements and installing a system based on this initial scope. But they then add little or no value from this point onwards apart from a standard maintenance contract.
This is where Annodata are different. Post installation - and usually over a number of years - we will carry out regular review meetings with you on a technical and commercial level, to ensure that the deployed solutions are adding as much value to your business as possible. It is not acceptable to simply wait until a new system is required before we re-engage with you, in what could be five or more years time - or even worse, wait for you to contact us regarding developments. It is our job as partners to ensure that we keep you up to date with any emerging technologies or products that could enhance the system further. This philosophy runs throughout the Annodata Communication Systems division and is what sets us apart from other resellers.
