The traditional way to implement a network infrastructure within a building is to flood-wire the area with structured cabling and RJ45 outlets. This allows office moves to take place in the future without the need to re-cable. In addition, once the cabling has been installed, quite often by the building contractor, a wireless voice and data network is added alongside the cabling infrastructure.
Many debates have taken place over recent years as to whether structured cabling should be dropped altogether in favour of wireless networks. However, we believe that most office environments actually benefit from a harmonised cabling and wireless infrastructure. For instance, there is no need to put large quantities of RJ45 outlets into meeting rooms or hot-desking areas, when the provision of wireless access points instead would reduce the cost of the initial structured cabling investment.
When carrying out building site surveys, Annodata take both cabling and wireless practices into account, to ensure that the eventual cost to you is minimised. We provide CAT5E, CAT6 and CAT7 cabling installations with comprehensive warranties, plus wireless voice and data solutions using Cisco, Siemens and Aruba products. And to minimise the amount of third party contractors that you will need to engage when moving or opening up a new office, we also provide electrical installation work, including comms room UPS and generators.
