Annodata provide interactive technology for more than 500 schools throughout the UK. Whatever budget you have available we can facilitate your needs, offering preferential pricing to the education sector on both products and installation. One of our key strengths is the consultative approach we take to our overall service package, enabling us to evaluate options, undertake site surveys, manage installation and, where necessary, provide adequate training.
The technology and the products constantly change in this fast-paced arena. Our AV Consultants are fully trained by suppliers, giving them the skills, experience and resources to meet all of your audio visual needs. They can take the hard work out of selecting equipment and they are just a phone call away, saving you valuable time when it comes to finding the right solutions for your school.
AV services
We also offer a highly experienced and professional installation service, and we ensure that our engineers are always professionally trained. Before we carry out any installation, we offer a detailed site survey to ensure that our products can be installed correctly within your premises, and we also make recommendations to help you achieve your planned objectives with the new equipment.
Vision is of course only half of a successful AV installation, so we also have the skills and experience necessary to give you the perfect sound as well, from speaker systems to amplifier systems. Our installation team are trained to fit not only all of our AV products, but also to deal with audio and control systems, and cabling. We can also provide a wide range of accessories, including bespoke furniture, lamps, cables, spare parts, projector and whiteboard accessories, trolleys and stands.
Interactive whiteboards
These are revolutionising and enriching the UK education sector, bringing lessons to life and enabling the integration of all sorts of technology, including access to the Internet, right into the lesson. Annodata are one of the largest independent suppliers of Interactive Whiteboards and we have carefully selected key partners to work with including Promethean, Smart Technologies, Displaymate and Hitachi.
Interactive voting systems
ACTIVstudioMV interactive voting systems bring interactivity to the classroom in a fun and educational way, to encourage student participation and improve comprehension and retention, whilst also helping to increase enthusiasm. Designed for use with whiteboards and plasma screens, or even just a projector and a pull-down screen, this technology is truly created for the classroom of the future.
Data projectors
There is a complex range of data projectors available, all of which fulfil different requirements. We can source almost any type of data or LCD projector, but experience has shown that most requirements are be met by products from Philips, 3M or Toshiba. Our AV consultants can recommend solutions which are right for your particular situation, including factors such as the way in which the data projector will be used. If it is being carried by staff on a regular basis then there will be health and safety considerations and weight will be an issue. However, where a fixed-position unit is being installed, we provide skilled and experienced implementation services, including site surveys to ensure that we understand all of your technical requirements.
LCD screens
These are powerful tools which can be used for multimedia-based presentations and lessons, or for video conferencing and use in reception areas. We supply a range of products from leading suppliers including Toshiba, NEC, Samsung, Fujitsu Siemens and LG, and offer a range of screen sizes from 20” to 61”.
We can also provide interactive overlays which turn your LCD screen into a powerful presentation and collaboration tool. This gives you a touch-sensitive surface to control and access any part of the computer application and allows you to highlight important information. The interactive overlay is available for most LCD screens and is compatible with major operating systems.
Video conferencing
Video conferencing is a communication tool which offers extensive learning opportunities across the curriculum, from the early years to the sixth-form and beyond. There is a wide range of practical applications for the technology and ‘conferences’ can range from a simple five-minute point to point link between two schools, to a multipoint session linking a number of schools and experts for a whole lesson.
Annodata has a unique proposition here, as we are an interactive technology provider which also has Communications Systems division. So by working together we are able to develop the right video conferencing solution for your school.
