Every school needs a network. It is the principal means by which students and teachers can collaborate, share or acquire information and communicate with the outside world. Choosing the right kind of network and ensuring that it is both managed and protected, is one of our areas of expertise.

Network design
We will work with you to design and implement Local Area Network (LAN) or Wide Area Network (WAN) solutions which are appropriate to the needs of your school. We have extensive in-depth experience of both Microsoft and Novell networks, and are able to provide advice and guidance on technologies such as Broadband ADSL and SDSL, as well as wireless and mobile communications.
We supply a wide range of network hardware and software including servers, workstations, switches, routers, printers and other peripherals. Equipment is supplied to your own specifications, or we can recommend appropriate hardware and software, chosen from a wide range of manufacturers. In addition, our highly trained network engineers offer an on-site maintenance service which will get you up and running as quickly as possible as and when any problems do occur.

Managed Server Support
For added peace of mind, our Managed Server Support option allows us to configure, monitor, analyse and upgrade your systems remotely and instantly. Utilising Windows server technology and Broadband Internet connectivity, Annodata can deliver remote access solutions that are both high performance and low cost.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN)
The VPN has traditionally been something of a ‘black art’ in the past, being complex to set up and manage. For this reason few schools have the skills or resources in house to take advantage of this technology. We can offer you a complete end to end managed solution using state-of-the-art VPN technology.

Remote access
